Copperplate: An introduction to the script lettering style

The course will introduce script lettering in the copperplate style. We'll use an oblique nib holder, pointed nibs, ink and gouache. Previous calligraphy experience is not required for this course. We will also create a handmade book featuring the lettering learned in the course.
Cost: $100. Materials fee of $25 includes all the supplies necessary for class.

LEARN SILK SCREEN PRINTING: the easy to use Gocco printer

This wonderfully easy to use printer can do a wide range of printing techniques. This class is for anyone interested in printing their own cards or art, it is not just for calligraphers. Over the 6 weeks, several printing techniques will be demonstrated and you will not only learn how to design a printed piece but you will create them as well. The goal is that by the end of the class you have printed a set of cards (or art prints) of your own making.
